First Lake Paddle
I was able to get out on a  lake for the first time this year. The lake was Ashfield Lake in MA. This is a small lake but it's near by. There was some wind, just enough wind to make it interesting. I was the only one on the lake. The temp was in the mid 40's. A wet suit was perfect for this paddle. Nice change after using a drysuit. Happy Paddling.

Re: First Lake Paddle
wow... for me (a florida girl) mid 40's seems way too cold to be in the water. Is the wet suit warm enough for water like that if you were to fall in?

Yes a wetsuit is warm enough. At least for me. I stay close to shore so the swim would be about 5 minutes.
